Choice One Communications

Scope: Working off hours and weekends, Radec Electric Corporation built a new server room, and reconfigured and relocated the majority of Choice One Communication’s offices in Rochester, NY with virtually no disruption to existing operations. Last minute changes and additions were handled in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, Radec also completed work in Choice One facilities located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Pilot Travel

Scope: Expansion and upgrade of Pilot Travel Convenience Center.


Scope: Fast-track construction and high pressure was no problem for Radec personnel on this 100,000 square foot headquarters facility. This brand new state-of-the-art building houses the executive offices, marketing, computer center, and main network operations center for Paetec, one of America’s fastest growing telecommunications companies.

Main Lodge at Bristol Mountain Winter Resort

Scope: Included a 14,000 square foot addition and significant renovation to the main ski lodge, including a completely new food service kitchen, walk-in coolers, dishwasher station, food scramble, and a newly renovated dining area featuring comfort food stations, fresh food stations, grilled food stations and a beverage station.

Regal Cinema At Eastview Mall

Scope: A detailed retrofit and upgrade of all theater lighting and sound systems and replacement of current seating with King Size leather recliners.

Frito Lay Distribution Center

Scope: A brand new, state-of-the-art, environmentally responsible distribution center granted LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (one of only two such certified buildings in the state of New York at the time of construction of the facility). Features included innovations in renewable energy, alternative lighting, energy efficiency standards, environmentally responsible construction management and a reduction of the facility’s “Heat Island” effect.
