FOREST PARK

ROCHESTER, NY

Scope: A late start and major changes in the electrical service requirements for this project created a challenge for the RADEC team. This eighty unit, up-scale apartment community had a groundbreaking in April with completion by Christmas of 1999. This project included all amenities, and as usual all requirements were met or exceeded by The RADEC Corporation.

THE PLAINS AT PARISH HOMESTEAD

ONEONTA, NY

Scope: This project consisted of new construction of 146 residential units (patio homes, apartments and assisted living facility within a 31-acre development community owned and operated by Living Communities.

ST. SALOME SENIOR APARTMENTS

IRONDEQUOIT, NY

Scope: New construction of 39 1- and 2-bedroom apartments and 6 patio homes in a campus-like setting, built on the L-shaped footprint of the former St. Salome School, Rectory and Convent. This project was completed in early 2009.

CHERRY RIDGE

WEBSTER, NY

Scope: A part of the St. Ann’s Communities, this project consisted of new construction of a 267,000 square foot retirement community with 55 cottages, 71 independent, 51 assisted living, and 24 special care units tucked in a fashionable suburban neighborhood. The facility includes a resident chapel, a cafe and convenience store, a commercial kitchen, dining room and a barber/beauty salon.

CONIFER VILLAGE AT ITHACA

ITHACA, NY

Scope: This project consisted of the construction of a 72-unit, three-story senior living facility. Green building practices were followed during the construction process and the building contained one- and two-bedroom units as well as handicap unit. Each unit consisted of a full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, eating area and radiant baseboard heat. Common areas included in the facility included an exercise room, a community room, and a computer room.

ST. JOHN’S MEADOWS

ROCHESTER, NY

Scope: After being one of two electrical contractors to work on Phase I of this large adult residential community, the owner selected The RADEC Corporation to do Phase II. The apartment project included garden style apartments as part of an adult living community that included extensive systems for the convenience and protection of all tenants. In addition to the residential units, the central core/community center included swimming pool, commercial kitchen, large dining room, as well as multiple offices, activity rooms, lounges and major mechanical rooms. RADEC was able to provide expertise for both residential and commercial wiring types and was able to maintain budget objectives at the same time.

CDS MONARCH SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY

WEBSTER, NY

Scope: New construction of a 50-unit senior apartment complex (46 one-bedroom units and 4 two-bedroom units). Completed on time and on budget.

Scope: First phase of a major expansion and enhancement project at a nonprofit continuing care retirement community, including 24 new apartments with modern amentities, and a new 48-bed skilled nursing center

GREECE, NY

Scope: New construction of a 54-unit senior apartment complex targeting low income seniors, including a computer lab/library, emergency pull cord call system, and a key fob entry system/visitor call system.
